More Farmer's Market Pictures

I'm a bit challenged in trying to add more than one picture to my posts. Everyone else makes it look super easy but I don't have that button on my laptop. I bought the handicapped version I guess.

Anyvay, (like my new accent?) Here are dem photos.

The Fish Market

I bought some fresh Sole yesterday for dinner last night. Just panfried it in butter and chopped fresh tomato with capers. Simple, but good. I found a decent artichoke at Whole Foods that I steamed too. Oh, I love artichokes. Right Paul? (he's artichoke challenged cuz he lives in Seattle). I would think that Pikes Market would have them....

Anyway, I didn't take a photo of my dinner but I added a picture I took when I was in Sicily a few years ago of the fish market in Palermo (or thereabouts). What a great trip that was.

Going to Mexico with my girls for the weekend so no posting till I return. We'll find nice hideaways to eat I'm sure.

VERY Easy Orange Roughy

No, Not this Orange Rough Guy!!

I made just about the easiest recipe ever for Orange Roughy (or you can use talapia or flounder. I'd use the Roughy for guests and the talapia for myself to save some $). It had 3 Key points that made me want to give it a try.

1. Preps in 5 minutes, Cooks in 10 minutes
2. Healthy use of ingredients, low or non fat
3. Tasted very fresh and was perfect for a warm summer meal accompanied with a glass of Savignon Blanc.

Next time I make it I think I'll add a diced jalapeno for a bit of zest or kick. I had all the ingredients onhand so it made it easy to just buy the fish.

Too bad I didn't have my biggy boy anymore. He would have helped me finish the fish off. Here's a photo of big baby Mac. He was helping with the warm laundry.
